Meet the Candidates

Brooke Bingham-Meusborn (Nomination for Young Professional Seat)

Current Title: Senior Media Buyer

Current Employer: Misfit

Brooke is a Fresno County native who built her entire media-buying career locally, rising from Digital Media Coordinator to Senior Media Buyer by age 29. At Misfit she runs multi-platform paid media strategy (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and programmatic) for regulated-industry clients spanning healthcare, banking, and state government, including a five-year run supporting Community Health Partners and CalRecycle. She’s applying for one of the young-professional Director seats and frames her motivation around giving back to the industry that gave her a start, with a specific interest in mentoring the next wave of Fresno advertising talent so they don’t feel they have to leave the Valley to build a career.

Caleb Carrillo (Nomination for Young Professional Seat)

Current Title: Graphic / Marketing Coordinator

Current Employer: Darden Architects, Inc.

Caleb is a 2026 BFA Graphic Design graduate from Fresno State with an unusually decorated student record — Best of Show and Judge’s Choice Student ADDYs, nine Gold and seven Silver Student ADDYs, and a second-place finish at the 2026 NSAC District 14 competition, where he served as Co-CEO, Creative Director, and Presentation Coach. He’s nominating himself for a young-professional Director seat, motivated by AAF Fresno’s role in his development. His application emphasizes representing emerging creatives on the board and expanding mentorship and professional development opportunities for students leaving college and entering the industry at the ground floor.

Erik Perez

Current Title: Creative Lead

Current Employer: Centered Marketing Group (CMG)

Erik has spent five years in agency work and was recently promoted to Creative Lead, where he oversees an 8-person team and manages creative across 15–18 active accounts. He already has AAF Fresno experience through two years on the Programs Committee, additionally supporting the Honors Award Luncheon, Holiday Party, member recruitment, and event photography, and he led CMG’s American Advertising Awards submissions across two seasons. His nomination emphasizes wanting to move from committee support into board-level leadership on event promotion, awards administration, and student mentorship, and he specifically wants to revive an AAF Fresno podcast concept.

Javier Salazar

Current Title: Communications & Public Outreach Specialist

Current Employer: Self-Help Enterprises

Javier leads bilingual communications strategy for infrastructure-related public service projects touching 150+ Central Valley communities, and he also runs a freelance marketing consultancy where he’s secured $90K in grant funding for arts and cultural initiatives. He’s currently active on AAF Fresno’s Publicity + Communications/Social Media Committee and is nominating himself for a young-professional Director seat. In his application, he points to hands-on production experience — including an associate producer role on local film projects and screenwriting — and frames his goal as helping AAF Fresno build stronger connections across the Central Valley’s creative and marketing community.

Jonathan Dominguez

Current Title: Designer & Art Director

Current Employer: JD Creative

Jonathan has run his own creative studio, JD Creative, since 2015 alongside a 16-year agency career, most recently as Senior Graphic Designer/Art Director at Centered Marketing Group (2021–2025), where he led branding, web, and campaign design across agriculture, education, politics, and professional services clients. His connection to AAF runs deep — his father won Best of Show at the 2011 ADDYs — and he served on the 2026 ADDYs Planning Committee, where he developed the awards’ visual identity and social graphics alongside AAF Fresno leadership. He’s seeking to formalize that involvement as a board member and continue contributing his design and event-production experience to the chapter’s signature events.

Raymond “Ray” Beauchamp

Current Title: Independent International Commissioned Sales

Current Employer: BeauMedia Corporation (incl. Fig Garden Magazine)

Ray brings over two decades of B2B sales and business development leadership, including VP-level roles at Connected Data, Super Vitesse, and ReframeIt, where he helped raise $1.4M+ in investment and closed an $18M government sales commitment. He’s currently rebuilding Fig Garden Magazine and has a long track record of board service and mentorship, including current board seats with the Business Marketing Association and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Santa Clara, plus 20+ years mentoring through UC Davis and UC Berkeley entrepreneurship programs. His nomination leans heavily on this mentorship and governance background, positioning him as a sales-and-partnerships-minded board contributor.

Shadia Salem

Current Title: Operations Manager

Current Employer: HdL Companies

Shadia has 8+ years of operations and customer experience leadership, currently directing licensing operations across 41 municipal jurisdictions and an 18-member team at HdL Companies. Her background includes scaling centralized customer support for Pressed Juicery’s 120+ retail locations and leading Client & Project Success at Bitwise Industries, where she managed a $4M+ account portfolio. Notably, she previously served on the AAF Fresno board during its 2022 revamp but resigned in 2023 for personal reasons; she’s now reapplying, citing her enjoyment of working with the board and her current capacity to fully support its needs.
